Create a vanity URL to your Discord Server in your WP Domain. The plugin creates a URL `/` that redirects to the invite link specified in WP-Admin. The plugin also creates a rich embed when sent to Discord and other social media. It has an awesome Embed Preview to see how the embeds will look like. This plugin can send a webhook to Discord when the link is clicked. Automatically installing in the site using wp-admin Plugin finder. 2. Manually downloading and uploading the file to the site. #### Automatically installing in the site using wp-admin Plugin finder 1. Login to wp-admin 2. Go to Plugins → Add New → Search for “WP Discord Invite” → Install → Activate 3. You can now manage your plugin settings from the “WP Discord Invite” Page from the sidebar. #### Manually downloading and uploading the file to the site 1. Download the ZIP file from [WordPress.](https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/wp-discord-invite.zip) 2. Go to WP-admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin → Select the ZIP file → Install Now → Activate 3. First head over to wp-admin → WP Discord Invite → WP Discord Invite Here, * Invite Link: It is the invite link to your Discord server starting either at or * You need to enter only the part after the base URL. (e.g. if your invite link is , enter only AbcXyz in the field). * Redirect URL: It is the suffix part after your site URL (like: `yoursite.com/discord` or `yoursite.com/support`). You can set it to whatever you want. * The title will be displayed above the description and below the author. (You can set these and click save changes to see it in Embed Preview) * The description will be displayed below the title. * The author will be displayed above the title. * Image URL is the URL of the image to be displayed at the right end of the embed. (Pro Tip: You can just send an image to any channel in Discord → Click that image to view → Right-click → Copy Link. You can use this link in the Image URL field and the image will be hosted in Discord's CDN) * You can select the embed colour using the interactive colour picker. You have now completed the basic configuration of the plugin. Now if you send the URL you see at the top of the page in wp-admin or `/discord` to Discord you'll see an embed as seen in the embed preview section. **Note:** The embed preview will change only if `Save Changes` The button is clicked. {% content-ref url="/pages/qX9BNWH6CdcSJnGHvLmQ" %} [Webhook](/wp-discord-invite/webhook) {% endcontent-ref %} # Webhook The plugin can send a webhook to Discord when your WP Discord Invite Link is clicked. The webhook will contain the WP Discord Invite Link its equivalent Discord Invite Link the total number of clicks to the link. You have two ways to configure webhook for the plugin: 1. Login with Discord Automatically 2. Create Webhook manually #### Login with Discord Automatically 1. Go to wp-admin -> WP Discord Invite -> Click Count 2. Click on `Login with Discord` Button 3. This will open Discord 4. Select the server in which you want the alerts to be sent 5. Select the channel and authorize it 6. This will automatically create a Webhook URL and save it to the plugin. 7. Now the plugin will send a message when someone clicks the WP Discord Invite Link. #### Create Webhook Manually 1. You need to create a webhook in Discord for the channel to which you want the webhook to be sent. ```plaintext Creating webhook URL in Discord: 1. Open your Server Settings and head into the Integrations tab: 2. Click the "Create Webhook" button to create a new webhook! 3. No need to edit the avatar and name as those will be overridden by the plugin. 4. Select the channel in which you want the plugin to post the messages. 5. Click the `Copy Webhook URL` button. ``` 2\. With the webhook URL copied go to wp-admin → WP Discord Invite → Click Count 3\. In the webhook section click the check box next to `Enable Webhook` to enable the webhook paste the Discord Webhook URL copied in the previous step in the text box next to the text saying `Discord Webhook URL` 4\. Internet Access & Link Unshortening NallaLink operates primarily offline. However, if you choose to enable the "Resolve Short Links" feature (e.g., for `bit.ly` or `t.co` links): * The app will use your device's internet connection to contact the URL provider directly to reveal the destination URL. * Privacy Note: This interaction occurs directly between your device and the destination server. We (NallaLink developers) do not see or log these requests. ### 2. Log Data We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app, we may collect data and information (through third-party products like Google Play Services) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics. ### 3. Service Providers We may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons: * To facilitate our Service (e.g., Google Play Services for app distribution); * To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.
